TEDxDavangere 2026 is an independently organized TED event held on 27 September 2026 at PSS EMR School, Davangere, under the theme “Power of Possibilities”.
About
After inspiring thousands through Sambhram, Davangere takes the red dot again.
Six editions of Sambhram showed what happens when this campus opens its doors to the city. TEDxDavangere 2026 carries that energy into a day of ideas. Thought leaders, innovators, creators and changemakers share the stage at Sri S. S. Ganesh Auditorium for two sessions of talks, with heritage walks, discovery sessions and cultural performances woven between them.
The theme, Power of Possibilities, is an invitation: to look at Davangere, at your work, and at yourself, and ask what could be.
Sambhram returns on Saturday 12 September 2026; the red dot follows on the 27th.

The x in TEDx
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

When and where is TEDxDavangere 2026?
Sunday, 27 September 2026, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Sri S. S. Ganesh Auditorium on the PSS EMR School campus, Shivagangotri, Davangere. Doors open at 9:00 for registration and breakfast; the first talk starts after the Discovery Sessions.
How much is a delegate pass and what does it include?
A delegate pass is ₹2,000 per person. It covers both talk sessions, the Experience Zone, the heritage walk and local tours, networking sessions, lunch and refreshments, the delegate kit, a participation certificate and TEDx merchandise.
How do I register?
Register online at tedxdavangere.com or scan the QR code on the poster. Payments are processed through Razorpay. Your confirmation email is your entry pass, so carry it along with a photo ID on the day.
Are seats limited?
Yes. The auditorium has a fixed capacity and passes are sold first-come, first-served. Once they sell out, a waitlist opens on the registration page and further passes are released only if a booking is cancelled.
Who are the speakers?
Eight to ten speakers across entrepreneurship, science, education, the arts, social change and youth leadership. Names are announced in waves on Instagram at @tedxdavangere, and this page is updated the same day each wave goes out.
What is TEDx and how is it different from TED?
TEDx events are independently organized under a licence from TED. The local team curates the speakers and the day; TED sets the format and the rules. The x in TEDx means independently organized TED event.
Can I nominate a speaker or partner with the event?
Yes to both. Speaker nominations go through the form at tedxdavangere.com/nominate-a-speaker. Partnership enquiries are handled at tedxdavangere.com/partners, where the current sponsorship tiers for the 2026 edition are listed.
