INTRODUCTION
The Inter-House Basketball Competition for CBSE Girls (Classes VI–VIII) was successfully organized by the Department of Physical Education on 18 July 2026 (Saturday) as part of the Inter-House Sports and Games Programme for the academic year 2026–27. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four prestigious houses—Raman House, Vinobha House, Gandhi House, and Tagore House—with students competing in a spirit of determination, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The competition was organized to promote physical fitness, leadership, teamwork, coordination, confidence, communication, and sportsmanship among students. Throughout the tournament, the players showcased excellent dribbling, passing, shooting, defensive coordination, rebounding, and tactical awareness while displaying remarkable enthusiasm and commitment.
The event provided an excellent platform for young athletes to demonstrate their basketball abilities, strengthen team spirit, and uphold the values of unity, perseverance, respect, and fair play.
OBJECTIVES
The Inter-House Basketball Competition was organized to:
Promote physical fitness and an active sporting lifestyle.
Develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
Improve basketball techniques and tactical awareness.
