The campus at Shivagangotri, Tolahunse runs to 45 acres next to Davangere University, with more than 600 trees on it. What makes it green is not the adjective but the plant: a sewage treatment plant, rain harvesting pits, a biogas plant, five water purification plants, solar water heaters, a medicinal garden and an in-house dairy.
What students do with it
Nature walks for the kindergarten — the campus is large enough that going outside to look at it is a scheduled activity.
