What your child brings to boarding
New boarders arrive with a set list of 43 items — from a mosquito net and a torch to ten hangers, two blankets and a trolley.
Everything is below, with quantities. There is also a list of what students may not bring, and that list is enforced.

Item 27 applies from Class VIII to PU only — students from Class VIII upwards wash their own inner garments. Everything else goes to the school laundry, which collects and returns.

The black marker is for labelling. Label everything before you arrive — it saves a great deal later.

About the phone rule
Boarders do not keep phones. Every boarder gets a scheduled call home each week at no charge — it is a listed line in the school’s own fee schedule, priced at zero. You can also reach the school directly at any time.
If medicine is needed
Prescription medicine isn’t kept in the room. It is held and administered by the health centre.

Do we need to bring uniforms?

Jogging is at 5:45am and sport is at 4pm. Running shoes for one, sports shoes for the other.
Who washes the clothes?
The school laundry collects and returns. From Class VIII upwards, students wash their own inner garments — which is why washing soap is on the list.
What about the swimming costume?
