Artists in residence
Classical performers come to the school through SPIC MACAY — the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth — among them a Koodiyattam performance and a Bharatanatyam recital by Vidushi Shivaranjani.
The Dean chairs the SPIC MACAY Davangere chapter, which is why these performances happen on a school campus rather than in a city auditorium. There is more on what the school hosts.
