OBJECTIVES

The Inter-House Birthday Card Making activity was organized to encourage creativity, imagination and artistic expression among the young learners of Nursery, LKG and UKG. The activity provided students with an opportunity to explore colours, shapes and decorative elements while developing their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It also helped improve concentration, patience, confidence and the ability to follow instructions. The activity encouraged students to express their ideas independently and complete their creative work within the given time. Through inter-house participation, the activity also promoted healthy competition, enthusiasm, sportsmanship and house spirit among the young learners.

OVERALL ACHIEVEMENT

The Birthday Card Making activity witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Nursery, LKG and UKG. The young learners displayed creativity, imagination, patience and confidence while preparing their birthday cards. Raman House showed a strong overall performance, securing first positions in the LKG and UKG categories, while Vinobha House secured the first position in the Nursery category. Gandhi House and Tagore House also demonstrated commendable participation and competitive spirit.

CONCLUSION

The Inter-House Birthday Card Making activity for Nursery, LKG and UKG students was successfully conducted on 29 August 2026 with enthusiastic participation from the young learners. The activity provided an enjoyable and meaningful platform for children to express their creativity and develop their artistic abilities. It helped enhance fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, patience, imagination and confidence among the participants. The inter-house format further encouraged healthy competition, participation and house spirit. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the students made the activity engaging and successful. The school appreciates the efforts of all participating students, teachers, house representatives and officials for their valuable contribution towards the successful conduct of the activity.
