INTRODUCTION

The Inter-House Financial Literacy Quiz Competition for CBSE students of Classes III–V was successfully organized on 01 August 2026 (Saturday) as part of the school's Inter-House Activities Programme for the academic year 2026–27. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four prestigious houses—Tagore House, Gandhi House, Vinobha House, and Raman House.

The event was designed to create awareness among young learners about the importance of financial literacy through an engaging and interactive quiz. Students participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their knowledge, confidence, analytical thinking, and teamwork while answering questions related to money management, saving, budgeting, banking, digital payments, and responsible financial habits.

The competition provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their financial awareness while promoting healthy competition, cooperation, confidence, and communication skills.

OBJECTIVES

The Inter-House Financial Literacy Quiz Competition was organized to:

• Create awareness about financial literacy among young learners.

• Encourage students to understand the importance of saving and budgeting.

• Develop logical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Improve teamwork, confidence, and communication abilities.

• Promote healthy inter-house competition.

• Encourage responsible financial habits from an early age.

COMPETITION OVERVIEW

The competition featured enthusiastic participation from all four houses:

• Tagore House

• Gandhi House

• Vinobha House

• Raman House

Students from Classes III–V participated actively and displayed remarkable confidence, teamwork, promptness, discipline, and accuracy while answering quiz questions. The competition was evaluated on the basis of Accuracy, Promptness, Teamwork, and Discipline, making the event both educational and competitive.

Tagore House emerged as the champions after delivering an excellent performance throughout the quiz competition. Their team demonstrated outstanding financial awareness, quick thinking, teamwork, and accuracy to secure the championship title.

Gandhi House secured the runners-up position with an impressive display of knowledge and coordination, while Vinobha House claimed third place through determined participation and thoughtful answers. Raman House also contributed to the success of the event by participating enthusiastically and displaying commendable team spirit.

The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants and expresses sincere gratitude to the Principal, judges, teachers, House Masters, coordinators, and volunteers for their valuable support in organizing the competition successfully.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where the winners were felicitated amidst applause and appreciation.
