INTRODUCTION

The Inter-House Football Competition for CBSE Boys (Classes VI–VIII) was successfully organized by the Department of Physical Education on 18 July 2026 (Saturday) as part of the Inter-House Sports and Games Programme for the academic year 2026–27. The tournament brought together enthusiastic football players from the four prestigious houses—Raman House, Gandhi House, Tagore House, and Vinobha House—who competed with exceptional determination, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The primary objective of organizing the competition was to promote physical fitness, leadership, teamwork, strategic thinking, coordination, communication, confidence, and sportsmanship among students. The championship provided young footballers with an excellent platform to enhance their technical skills while developing discipline, resilience, and a healthy competitive spirit.

Throughout the tournament, every team displayed outstanding ball control, tactical awareness, accurate passing, coordinated defending, attacking strategies, and goal-scoring abilities. The matches were played in a disciplined and competitive atmosphere, reflecting the school's commitment to holistic education through sports.


OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPETITION

The Inter-House Football Competition was organized with the following objectives:

  • To promote physical fitness and overall well-being among students.

  • To develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

  • To improve football techniques including passing, dribbling, tackling, and shooting.

  • To encourage strategic thinking and tactical awareness.
