🎯 OBJECTIVES

The Inter-House Hockey Competition was organized to provide students of Classes IX and X with an opportunity to demonstrate and develop their hockey skills, physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, coordination, leadership and competitive spirit. The event aimed to encourage healthy competition among the four houses while promoting sportsmanship, confidence, determination and respect for opponents. It also provided students with valuable match experience and encouraged them to develop qualities such as resilience, responsibility and effective team communication through active participation in a competitive sporting environment.


🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP SUMMARY

The Inter-House Hockey Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and strong competition among all four houses.

🥇 GANDHI HOUSE – CHAMPIONS

Gandhi House secured the First Position and emerged as the Overall Champion, demonstrating excellent teamwork, discipline, coordination and competitive determination throughout the competition.

🥈 TAGORE HOUSE – RUNNER-UP

Tagore House secured the Second Position, displaying a strong competitive performance and commendable team spirit.

🥉 RAMAN HOUSE – THIRD POSITION

Raman House finished in Third Position, securing a place on the podium through consistent effort and enthusiastic participation.

IV – VINOBHA HOUSE

Vinobha House secured the Fourth Position and contributed positively to the overall spirit and competitiveness of the event.

📝 CONCLUSION

The CBSE Inter-House Hockey Competition for Boys of Classes IX–X, held on 22 August 2026, was successfully conducted as an important sporting activity of the academic year 2026–27. The competition achieved its primary objectives of promoting physical fitness, hockey skills, teamwork, discipline, leadership, coordination and healthy competition among students.

Gandhi House emerged as the Champion, followed by Tagore House in Second Position, Raman House in Third Position and Vinobha House in Fourth Position. The event provided students with valuable competitive experience and encouraged them to develop important sporting and personal qualities.

Continued training, systematic skill development and regular match exposure will help improve the overall standard of hockey in the school. The participation of Class IX students is particularly encouraging for the future, while the Class X students have gained valuable experience that can support them in higher-level competitions.
