OBJECTIVES

The Inter-House Monologue activity was organized to develop students' communication skills, confidence and expressive abilities. The activity provided students with an opportunity to present their thoughts and ideas through effective speech, expression and voice modulation. It aimed to improve pronunciation, fluency, presentation skills, creativity and stage confidence while encouraging students to overcome hesitation and speak before an audience. The activity also promoted concentration, emotional expression, listening skills, healthy competition and respect for fellow participants. Through inter-house participation, students were encouraged to develop confidence, creativity and a positive competitive spirit.

ACHIEVEMENT

Raman House emerged as the winner of the Monologue competition, with Rithesh R. N. of Class V-B securing the first position with 7 points. Gandhi House secured the second position through Shreya S. B. of Class V-A, who scored 6.5 points. Tagore House secured third position through Vasnika of Class IV-C, with 6 points, while Thanvi B. V. of Class V-B from Gandhi House secured fourth position with 5 points.

The participants demonstrated confidence, creativity, clear expression and effective voice modulation throughout the competition. Their performances reflected their enthusiasm and willingness to develop their communication and presentation skills.


CONCLUSION

The Inter-House Monologue competition for students of Classes III to V was successfully conducted on 29 August 2026 with enthusiastic participation from the students. The activity provided a valuable platform for young learners to express themselves confidently and develop their communication and presentation skills. It helped students improve their voice modulation, pronunciation, fluency, expression, creativity and stage confidence. The competition also encouraged healthy competition, discipline and respect for fellow participants. The performances showcased the students' enthusiasm, creativity and growing confidence in public speaking. The school appreciates the efforts of all participating students, teachers, house representatives and officials for their valuable contribution towards the successful conduct of the activity.
