🎯 OBJECTIVES

The overall objective of the Inter-House Running Race was to provide young students with a safe, enjoyable and competitive platform to develop physical fitness, athletic ability, confidence, discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork. The event was also organized to encourage students to participate actively in athletics, develop speed, coordination and physical endurance, experience healthy competition and identify promising young athletes who can be encouraged and trained for future sporting competitions.

📝 CONCLUSION

The CBSE Inter-House Running Race for Classes I & II was a successful and competitive sporting event that provided young athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their speed, enthusiasm, discipline and sporting spirit. The event created a positive and encouraging environment where students could participate actively, experience healthy competition and develop confidence through sport.

Harshit Basanna Alagavadi of Vinobha House emerged as the Boys' Champion with a performance of 4.67, while Ruthvika S Bidarur of Gandhi House secured the Girls' Championship with a performance of 5.31. At the house level, Gandhi House emerged as the Overall Leading House with 24 points, followed by Vinobha House with 13 points, Tagore House with 8 points and Raman House with 5 points.

The close margins among the leading athletes, particularly in the Girls' race, demonstrate the competitive potential of the young participants. Continued training in sprint technique, starting technique, speed development, coordination and physical conditioning will help these young athletes improve their performances in future competitions.

Overall, the event successfully promoted fitness, discipline, teamwork, healthy competition, confidence and sportsmanship, making it a valuable contribution to the holistic development of students at the foundational level.
