OBJECTIVES

The Inter-House Shloka Recitation Competition was organized to encourage students to develop memory, concentration, pronunciation, confidence, expression, and effective recitation skills. The competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their ability to memorize and recite shlokas with clarity, proper rhythm, expression, and confidence. It also aimed to create an appreciation for Indian cultural and traditional values, while promoting discipline, patience, healthy competition, and respect for fellow participants. The event further encouraged students to develop stage confidence, strengthen inter-house participation, and nurture their interest in learning and preserving traditional knowledge.

🏆 PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS

Gopavadhan of Tagore House delivered an impressive performance and secured the first position with 9/10 marks. The performance reflected confidence, clarity, and good presentation skills.

Bhanvi G. of Vinobha House secured the second position with 8/10 marks, demonstrating commendable recitation skills and confident presentation.

Sanika of Gandhi House secured the third position with 7/10 marks, displaying enthusiasm and good command over the recitation.

Ayush N. Naik of Raman House secured the fourth position with 6/10 marks, demonstrating sincere participation and confidence throughout the competition.

The competition provided a valuable platform for students to demonstrate their memory, pronunciation, concentration, confidence, and expressive abilities.

CONCLUSION

The Inter-House Shloka Recitation Competition for Classes III to V was successfully conducted on 29 August 2026 in the Music Room, with enthusiastic participation from students representing all four houses. The competition provided an enriching platform for students to develop memory, concentration, pronunciation, confidence, expression, discipline, and presentation skills.

Tagore House emerged as the champion, with Gopavadhan securing the first position with an impressive score of 9/10. Vinobha House secured the second position, followed by Gandhi House in third place and Raman House in fourth place.

The performances reflected the students' preparation, enthusiasm, confidence, and appreciation for traditional learning. The event successfully promoted healthy competition, cultural awareness, discipline, and overall personality development among the students.

The school appreciates the efforts of all participating students, House Masters, judges, teachers, and organizers for their valuable contribution towards the successful conduct of the competition.
