INTRODUCTION
The Inter-House Tug of War Competition for CBSE Boys & Girls (Classes IX–X) was successfully organized by the Department of Physical Education on 25 July 2026 (Saturday) as part of the Inter-House Sports and Games Programme for the academic year 2026–27. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four prestigious houses—Gandhi House, Vinobha House, Raman House, and Tagore House—with students competing in a spirit of determination, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The competition was organized to promote physical strength, endurance, teamwork, leadership, coordination, confidence, perseverance, and mutual trust among students. Throughout the championship, participants demonstrated remarkable unity, determination, resilience, and tactical coordination while displaying excellent sporting spirit.
The event provided an excellent platform for students to develop physical fitness, strengthen team bonding, and uphold the values of cooperation, discipline, leadership, and fair play.
OBJECTIVES
The Inter-House Tug of War Competition was organized to:
Promote physical strength, endurance, and overall fitness.
Develop teamwork, unity, and mutual cooperation.
Encourage leadership and communication skills.
Build confidence, determination, and resilience.
Foster discipline, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
