Most schools have three science labs and a computer room. PSSEMR has eleven specialist rooms, plus a design lab.

The school publishes a chemistry laboratory safety guide and a science safety policy as downloadable documents — not something most schools put online.

A room set aside for astronomy — uncommon in this district, and a campus outside the city centre has darker skies than anywhere in town.
